The law says that we have to identify the significant risks of injury or illness to our employees and those who may be impacted by our work activity. We then have to put propotionate measures in place which are reasonable and practicable to mitigate those risks - thats it. At ALFA Consultancy we are committed to supporting clients and developing a collaborative, sensible approach to add real value to your organisation. Neil leads the team of IOSH Certified Safety Professionals and has over 25 years experience in Health & Safety and 40 years in Leadership at all levels.
ALFA Consultancy believes in challenging the “status quo” and believes in encouraging safety professionals to think differently. The way we challenge the status quo, is by building strong personal relationships with clients, by providing sensible and proportional risk management striving towards protecting workers from injury and illness. Taking a sensible approach enables innovation, understanding of risk and responsibilities, learnings and a balance between benefits and risks with a focus on significant harm. ALFA Consultancy believes this is in line with the true intent of health and safety, it is not about exaggerating the trivial, reducing worker protection from real harm or generating unnecessary paperwork, it is about keeping things simple in order that you deliver safely, honestly and ethically all of the time
